Yuser10 Application

Post  Yuser10 on Sat Nov 12, 2011 1:37 pm

1:What is your skill level in flying airliners?
I don't know how to rate myself so I'll say this... I can navigate, takeoff, land, and taxi, but not ils land.
2:What airliners have you flown before?
B747, B737, B777, A320,
Heavy bombers give similar exp, right?
Lancaster, Stratofortress, G4M
3:Can you handle conditions such as low visibility & high winds?.
I can handle low visibility fairly well but not no visibility (ils approach)
I get like a 60% land on 1st try with high winds, then if i dont land i adjust.

Also, I dont know the official atc phrases, i can't find them anywhere.

P.S. This would be my 1st VA
P.P.S. Go Lucario!

In case you are interested in rating yourself, the above statements would qualify you as a VFR pilot. That is a real-life thing. (The two main branches are VFR-visual flight rules- and IFR-instrument flight rules - which includes things like landing ILS and stuff that is harder)

I don't consider myself an IFR pilot, because I am a real-life pilot - VFR - and I know what IFR really is. That said, I can do half-decent IFR approaches and zero-vis is not a problem for me.

The link to ATC phrases is http://ysfhq.com/phpbb3/viewtopic.php?f=36&t=1958

Yuser escort application

Post  Yuser10 on Sat Nov 26, 2011 1:41 pm

1:What is your skill level in dogfighting?
Dogfighting? I'll answer the question first.
I've beat many people in dogfighting, but have never had any official training. Bombcat showed me how to df, and i took it from there.
Now
Dogfighting? I doubt escorting will end up dogfighting. It'll be more like an intercept. the civikiller, chances are, wont retaliate, and instead will go after the civil first, then retaliate if they are successful.
2:What fighters have you flown before?
(f-)1,2,4,5,8,14,15,16,18,18e/f,22,35,,104,111;(su-)27,33,35,37;(mig)15,27,29;(P-)47,51;(other)hawk,cf-187,spitfire,hurricane,gripen,,j-10, j-10x,harrier, dont wanna list the rest
3:About how many fighters have you killed before by gun?
more than half the amount i dfed, i didnt count how many dfs i've been in, maybe 30 or so? plus i've killed with army tank turrets and intercept missions and ww3 server, so yeah.

Application approved.

First, you are now a member of IAVA and IAVA ED.
Second, this is supposed to go in your original application topic. Merged.
